About the Journal

Aims and Scope

The Euphrates Journal for Innovation in Nanotechnology (EJIN) is a peer-reviewed, open-access scholarly journal published by Al-Furat Al-Awsat Technical University and dedicated to research in nanotechnology, nanoscience, nanomaterials, nanoscale engineering, and related interdisciplinary applications.

EJIN provides a scholarly platform for researchers, academics, engineers, and professionals to communicate original research, critical reviews, methodological advances, and emerging applications in nanoscale science and technology.

The journal welcomes rigorous contributions covering, but not limited to:
•    Nanomaterials, nanostructures and nanocomposites
•    Nanotechnology in materials science and engineering
•    Nanofabrication and nanoscale manufacturing
•    Nanoelectronics, nanophotonics and optoelectronics
•    Nanosensors and biosensors
•    Energy-related nanotechnology, including batteries, supercapacitors, fuel cells and photovoltaics
•    Environmental nanotechnology, water treatment and pollution remediation
•    Biomedical, pharmaceutical and healthcare nanotechnology
•    Nano-catalysis and chemical applications
•    Computational nanoscience, molecular dynamics and multiscale modeling
•    Advanced characterization and analytical methods for nanoscale materials
•    Green and sustainable nanotechnology
•    AI and machine learning applications in nanoscience and nanotechnology

EJIN considers manuscripts that demonstrate scientific rigor, methodological transparency, originality or meaningful synthesis, and a clear contribution to the field. Manuscripts outside the journal's scope or failing to meet minimum scientific and ethical standards may be declined before external review.

The journal is published biannually (2 issues per year), with the possibility of special issues on emerging topics in nanotechnology.

EJIN currently publishes articles with APC (Article Processing Charge) free and accepts the following types of manuscripts: Original research articles, review articles , and special issue papers.
